Kelly Krieger

Kelly Krieger is an actor, director, and theatre educator, and a graduate of The University of the Arts, where he earned a degree in directing. He is the former Artistic Director of Theatre at the Grove in Nuangola, PA.

As a performer, Kelly has appeared in a wide range of leading roles, including Pseudolus (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), Henry Higgins (My Fair Lady, BroadwayWorld Award nomination), Black Stache (Peter and the Starcatcher), Billy Flynn (Chicago), Seymour (Little Shop of Horrors), The Emcee (Cabaret), Nathan Detroit (Guys and Dolls, BroadwayWorld Award nomination), and JD (Heathers the Musical, NEPTA Award Winner), among others. His work is recognized for its versatility, strong character work, and dynamic stage presence.

In addition to performing, Kelly has directed productions including Into the Woods, Avenue Q, Evil Dead: The Musical, Spring Awakening, and The Last Five Years. His directing work reflects a focus on storytelling, character-driven performance, and bold creative choices.

Kelly is deeply passionate about theatre education and has developed and led children’s and teen programming for numerous organizations throughout NEPA. In addition to his stage work, he has appeared in commercial projects, including a featured role as Willie Robertson in a national promotional campaign for Duck Dynasty.

At The Standard Theatre Company, Kelly contributes as a director and teaching artist, bringing his experience, creativity, and commitment to high-quality, engaging work.
