Courtney Zabresky

Courtney Zabresky is a costume designer, director, and teaching artist with a strong background in theatrical design and a passion for storytelling through visual detail. With nearly a decade of experience, she has contributed to a wide range of productions, most recently with Ovation Playhouse NEPA.

Her design work includes productions such as Les Misérables: School Edition, Beauty and the Beast, and Anastasia, where she has been recognized for her ability to create cohesive, character-driven costumes that enhance both narrative and performance. With a foundation in sewing, costume construction, and historical fashion, Courtney brings both technical skill and artistic vision to each project.

In addition to her design work, Courtney is an experienced educator and director, dedicated to guiding young artists in both performance and production. She is passionate about creating a learning environment that is hands-on, engaging, and rooted in both creativity and discipline.

At The Standard Theatre Company, Courtney serves as a director, costume designer, and teaching artist, where she contributes to both the artistic development of productions and the mentorship of emerging performers and designers.
